In 1992 she also studied at Middlesex Polytechnic in London and in 1993 at the Maryland Institute of Art in Baltimore, USA. In 2002, she was a finalist for the Jind\u0159ich Chalupeck\u00fd Prize for visual artists and artists under the age of 35.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>RELEVANT INFORMATION<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe themes of Ba\u0148kov\u00e1 's books are the mysteries of the natural sciences, which she approaches through fiction.
