Finalmente, se dedic\u00f3 a escribir y editar novela gr\u00e1fica hasta convertirse en uno de los autores m\u00e1s importantes de las nuevas generaciones. Muchas de sus publicaciones tratan la tem\u00e1tica de la guerra de independencia y h\u00e9roes nacionales desde el g\u00e9nero <em>noir<\/em> y la ciencia ficci\u00f3n, y es considerado como uno de los autores m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes en causar una revoluci\u00f3n en el panorama literario nacional con historias verdaderamente originales y arriesgadas que se han ganado el benepl\u00e1cito de la cr\u00edtica y el p\u00fablico.\r\n\r\nF.G. Haghenbeck es un autor <em>best-seller<\/em> internacional cuyas obras han sido traducidas a casi veinte idiomas, entre ellos, el alem\u00e1n, ingl\u00e9s y chino.\r\n\r\nHa recibido el <strong>Premio Nacional de Novela \u00a8Una Vuelta de Tuerca\u00a8<\/strong>, el <strong>Premio Nocte de Mejor Libro Extranjero, <\/strong>el <strong>Premio Gourmand <\/strong>en Francia (convirti\u00e9ndose as\u00ed en el primer autor latinoamericano en recibir dicha distinci\u00f3n), el <strong>Premio de Bellas Artes de Novela Jose Ruben Romero<\/strong>, el <strong>Premio LIJ Norma<\/strong> ,y el <strong>Premio Bram Stoker<\/strong> por su obra <em>El diablo me oblig\u00f3<\/em> \u2013 novela que est\u00e1 siendo adaptada para la serie de Netflix <em>Diablero<\/em>.\r\n\r\nFue coescritor y co-creador de Crimson de Wildstorm\/Time Warner.
