Aunque interesado por la\u202fm\u00fasica, decidi\u00f3 estudiar Ingenier\u00eda de Computaci\u00f3n en la\u202fUniversidad Nacional Aut\u00f3noma de M\u00e9xico. Sin embargo, decidi\u00f3 dedicarse a la carrera literaria, mantener cierta presencia en el mundo musical y paulatinamente retirarse como ingeniero.\r\n\r\nA parte de su nutrida obra literaria, fue uno de los fundadores de\u202fIn-Crescendo, una compa\u00f1\u00eda teatral independiente con la que lleg\u00f3 a escenificar su obra teatral.\r\n\r\nSu trabajo se caracteriza por la profundidad de sus personajes, la intriga de sus tramas y, a menudo, la incorporaci\u00f3n de elementos de fantas\u00eda y misterio.\r\n\r\nSu obra ha sido reconocida y celebrada tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. Su compromiso con la literatura tambi\u00e9n se refleja en su participaci\u00f3n en talleres y conferencias, donde fomenta la lectura y escritura creativa entre los j\u00f3venes.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>INFORMACI\u00d3N RELEVANTE <\/strong>\r\n\r\nLa obra de Malpica ha sido reconocida en m\u00faltiples ocasiones, obteniendo el <strong>Premio \"Gran Angular\" M\u00e9xico<\/strong> tres veces, adem\u00e1s de haber sido galardonado con el <strong>Premio El Barco de Vapor<\/strong> y el <strong>Premio Internacional de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil de Norma<\/strong>. Su nombre tambi\u00e9n figura en la prestigiosa lista White Ravens de la Internationale Jugendbibliothek de M\u00fanich.
