En adici\u00f3n a ser el segundo argentino en recibir el <strong>Premio Miguel de Cervantes<\/strong>, obtuvo, entre otros, el <strong>Premio Jerusal\u00e9n, <\/strong>el <strong>Premio M\u00e9ndez Pelayo\u00a0<\/strong>y el <strong>Premio Gabriel Mistral.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nSu obra, considerada parte de la literatura hispanoamericana m\u00e1s relevante del siglo XX y ha sido traducida a m\u00e1s de 35 lenguas.
