The Vineyard (TV Series)

Only great stories inspire great emotions.

Nothing made Mauro Larrea think that the fortune he had made in New Mexico after years of tension and courage would crumble in a terrible setback. When he goes bankrupt due to the US Civil War, Mauro needs to find a new way to make a living. He will find it in Cuba and Spain, drowned by debts and uncertainty, after wagering his last resources in a reckless move that gives him the opportunity to arise again.

It is in Jerez de la Frontera, an Andalusian cosmopolitan settlement that trades wine with England, where he meets mysterious Soledad Montalvo, the wife of a Londoner wine merchant. She enters his life surrounded by chiaroscuro to drag him into a future that he never imagined.

From the young Mexican republic to the splendid colonial Havana; from the Antilles to Jerez, The Vineyard is a novel about triumphs and defeats, about silver mines, family intrigues, vineyards, wineries and magnificent cities whose splendor vanished with the passing of time. The Vineyard is a story in which family secrets are mixed with business. A story of courage in the face of adversity and of a destiny altered forever by the strength of passion.
