Alberto Caliani is a Spanish writer and screenwriter. After an initial period working as a comic artist and as an editor for specialized publications, he devoted himself fully to literature, building a diverse body of work that spans adventure thrillers, historical novels, and noir fiction with supernatural elements.
Caliani has been awarded the 2013 Pandemia Prize, the double HISLIBRIS 2021 awards for Best Historical Novel and Best Spanish Author, and the José Rasero Balón Prize for Best Crime Novel.
