Fran López Castillo is a Spanish writer of romance novels. For many years, he combined his work as an accountant with writing, beginning his literary career through a blog and social media, where he has built a large readership with tens of thousands of followers.
He debuted in 2017 with Sorry, Do You Have a Light?, a novel that went through several editions in its first year. He later published My Life Is Worthy of a TV Series (2020) and The Problem Is Thinking You Have Time (2024).
Throughout his career, he has sold tens of thousands of copies through self-publishing, outside traditional publishing circuits, and has received the Special Bestselling Author Award from Editorial Círculo Rojo, the Alumni Cultural Award from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, and the Onda Cero National Young Author Prize (2025).
