David Barreiro

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co-agency of Oh! Books Literary Agency.

David Barreiro is a journalist, writer and playwright, whose works have been represented and awarded in various competitions. He graduated in Information Sciences by the Pontifica University of Salamanca and has a diploma in screenwriting and film directing from the Instituto del Cine de Madrid. Currently he works as a scriptwriter and playwright and is a script coordinator at TBS.

David Barreiro has received the Asturias Young Narrative Award, the Complutense Narrative Foundation Award and has been finalist for the Herralde Award, in several ocassions.

As a playwright Barreiro has been awarded with the Young Asturias Award for Theatrical Texts, the Augustín González Theater Award, The Theater Book Salon Award, The Castelló Theater Award, the Raúl Moreno Fatex Award for Theatrical Texts, the City of Castellón National Theater Award, the City of Requena Theater Award and the AnimaT.Sur Award for Theatrical Texts.
