Joe Jiménez

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co-agency of Arte Público Press.

Joe Jiménez is an international writer that holds a MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles.

He is the author of Bloodline, a novel that plainly problematizes the stereotype of masculinity. In it, Jiménez tells the audience the story of Abraham, a 17-year-old boy who is going through a difficult moment in his life and has to learn how to cope with it.

Joe Jiménez was the recipient of the Letras Latinas / Red Hen Press Poetry Prize. His projects came into existence in several countries such as Belgium, the UK, the US, the Netherlands, Mexico and Argentina.

The critics highlight the poetic way in which Jiménez depicts every single detail of his literary works.
