Jorge Fernández Díaz is an Argentinean writer and journalist. In his books, the Argentinean author manages to successfully unite both the essence of a novel and a chronicle. He is the author of the trilogy starring agent Remil, which has sold more than 300,000 copies, making it the most successful thriller saga in Argentina. According to its publisher, “Remil is the most widely read character in the country within the police genre”, consolidating the author as an emblem within the genre. El puñal is a finalist for France’s Grand Prix de Littéraire Politique and the Violet Noir Festival in Toulouse.

His works have been translated into English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish and Czech.
