Juan José Saer

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co agency of Schavelzon Graham Literary Agency. 

Juan José Saer is considered one of the most influential Argentinian authors of the 20th century. His literary works include twelve novels, numerous essays, five fairy tales and a poetry collection.

In addition to his work as a writer, Saer was a Film History and Cinematography Art professor at the National University of Litoral until he moved to Paris, where he worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Rennes.

Juan José Saer has been recognized as one of the most influential voices of modern Hispanic literature and has been awarded numerous times for his literary work. Among the honors the author has received, we can highlight the prestigious Nadal Award, the Konex Award, the France Culture Award and the Unione Latina di Letterature Romanze.

His books have been translated to many languages such as French, English, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Greek and Swiss.
