Juan Ramón Santos is a writer with a degree in Law Political Science. Additionally, he is the founder of the Cultural Association “Alcancía”, and has been the president of the Writers Association of Extremadura, Spain.

His novel The Four M´s Club (El club de las cuatro emes), has received the prestigious Edebé Award for Children´s Literature, the highest award for children´s literature in Spain. The author has also won many other awards, like the Short Narration Novel Award, the Setenil Award for best book of short stories, and the Felipe Trigo Award. Additionally, he was a finalist for the Nadal Award.
