Luisa Castro

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co agency of Antonia Kerrigan Literary Agency.

Luisa Castro, who holds a degree in Hispanic Philology from the Complutense University of Madrid, is a renowned novelist, poet, and a columnist. Throughout her extensive career as an author, Castro has written her works in both Spanish and Galician.

Additionally, she has worked as a writer for media outlets such as ABC, El País, and El Mundo. 

Currently, she’s the director of the Cervantes Institute in Dublin and gives lectures and courses at numerous universities.

 

RELEVANT INFORMATION 

Luisa Castro won her first award at the age of 19: the Hiperión Prize, which recognized her poetry. Since then, Castro has accumulated numerous awards, including the Azorín Prize, the Biblioteca Breve Prize, and the Torrente Ballester Prize. She has also been a finalist for the Herralde Prize.
