Marta Sanz

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co agency of Anagrama Publishing House.

Marta Sanz is one of the most important contemporary Spanish writers. She has a PhD in Contemporary Literature by the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. Her interest in writing started in one of the workshops organised by the Literature School of Madrid, where she met Constantino Bértolo, the editor who published her first novels under the label of Debate Publishing House.

As professor, she has worked in the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija of Madrid. She currently combines her work as author, professor and literary critic in several media, such as Babelia magazine for El País newspaper, the Mercurio magazine, and the literary blog La tormenta en un vaso, as well as the direction of the Ni hablar literary magazine.

 

RELEVANT INFORMATION

Her novels have been awarded some of the most important distinctions of the Spanish literature, like the Premio Herralde, the Premio Ojo Crítico de Narrative, or the XI Premio Vargas Llosa. She has also been a finalist to the Premio Nadal.
