Nieves Herrero

Nieves Herrero is a well-known Spanish journalist, TV host and writer. She studied Journalism at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Law at the Universidad Europea de Madrid. After working in Antena 3 Radio, she arrived to TVE as an editor of the program Por la mañana, hosted by Jesús Hermida and of which she became deputy director.

Later on, she worked for Antena 3, hosting and directing her own daily program, De tú a tú. Her coverage of the Alcasser Murders was very popular.

She went back to TVE, where she was host of Hoy es posible. Later, she worked for RNE and for some local TV channels. She has also worked for Telecinco, La 10, 13TV, Capital Radio and Onda Madrid. She has also worked as a writer for El Mundo.

RELEVANT INFORMATION

Nieves Herrero has written five books, and she was awarded with the Premio de la Crítica de Madrid. She was also awarded with the Premio Ondas, the Antena de Oro, the Antena de Plata and three TP de Oro, having been nominated in other three occasions.
