Nora de la Cruz

Nora de la Cruz is a Mexican writer, translator, literature professor and editor. She got her bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature, her master’s degree in Teaching at the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature, and her PhD in Literary Theory at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (NAUM). As part of her academic training, she studied Creative Writing at the University of El Paso, Texas.

She has published short stories, articles, reviews, and interviews in a variety of different media outlets such as Posdata, Hoja Blanca, La Fábrica de Mitos Urbanos, Distintas Latitudes, Milenio and Casa del Tiempo.

She is the creator of both the Youtube channel “Interior 403”, primarily focused on literary critique and of Interior 403 Publishing House, which is of free access and is dedicated to independent contemporary literature.

Dedicated to creative writing, Nora de la Cruz was chosen by El financiero newspaper as one of the five young Mexican female authors you must know. 

Additionally, the author is known to be a strong feminist activist who particularly fights the visibility of women in literature.
