Teresa Donato is an Argentine journalist, playwright, and screenwriter whose career has developed across radio, television, theatre, and contemporary narrative.
She has participated in internationally acclaimed productions such as Patito Feo —winner of an Emmy Award—, Chica vampiro, Viudas e hijos del Rock & Roll, El elegido, and Amor en custodia. At the same time, she has maintained an active presence in radio and theatrical outreach, particularly through the @teatrocontere series, which received the Argentores Award.
As a playwright and writer, her work focuses on memory, human rights, and experiences of survival. She has written plays such as Aquellas mujeres and Mi vida anterior, the latter based on real testimonies about the Argentine dictatorship and receiving strong critical and public acclaim. In 2025, she published Twice Disappeared, a work that expands on this same testimonial and political universe.
