Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co-agency of Vicente Peñarrocha

 Vicente Peñarrocha is a Spanish filmmaker. He studied Audiovisual Communication at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and Psychology and Film Criticism at the Santa Monica College in California.  He started his career as location manager and personal assistant of American directors in Europe, like Jim McBride, Nicholas Meyer or Kathryn Bigelow.

In his long audiovisual career, he has been the screenwriter of the film Nómadas; director of international film projects like Fuera del Cuerpo, Arritmia and María Montez, as well as of the TV series Hay Alguien Ahí, Ángel o Demonio and La Fuga. He was also the producer and editor of the film Los Fabulosos. Besides, he is the co-creator of the TV series UPA Dance, one of the most successful TV series in Spain.

 

RELEVANT INFORMATION

Throughout his career, Peñarrocha has been awarded with many recognitions, such as the Independent Film Festival of New York Best Foreign Film Award, the Best Director and Best Script Awards at the Festival de Cine Español de Málaga, and one nomination to the Goya Award for Best New Director.
