… And one day everything was lost. 

Nico and Osvaldo had lived through practically everything together: from Nico´s experience when coming out to the death of family members and so on… However, from one day to the next, suddenly everything was ruined. Nico breaks up with Osvaldo, on account of no one apparent reason but many, and Osvaldo is left absolutely heartbroken. He cannot understand how, after six years of being together, Nico could part ways so easily. 

… And One Day Nico Left is their love story, from beginning to end, including the rollercoaster of emotions that inevitably comes with being in a relationship. It all begins with the night Nico and Osvaldo met, then the honeymoon phase, followed by the inevitable “plateau” phase, and last but not least, their breakup. Nico moves somewhere unknown to Osvaldo, who is taking the breakup quite badly, but nevertheless he tries his best to rebuild his life without Nico by his side. 

A story with a naive and decidedly out of control romanticism, about a universal and inevitable experience: the disappointment of love, romance and heartbreak.

RELEVANT DATA: … And One Day Nico Left is Osvaldo Bazán´s first novel, an author who is an activist defending the rights of the LGBTQ+ community, having received a distinguished honor by certain groups of said organization in Argentina. This distinction award Bazán for “having spread a positive image of the gay movement in the media”. Additionally, he is the author of History of Homosexuality in Argentina, the first comprehensive report on homosexuality published in Latin America.
