Angelina is about to be betrothed with Rodolfo, a young man whom her father wants her to marry. However, Angelina is in love with Germán and runs away with him. But the father finds out about this forbidden love and after injuring the young man, he finds out he also has a relationship with Angelina’s mother.

 

RELEVANT FACTS: The play was taken to cinema in 1935, directed by Louis King. It was also taken to television twice: in 1964 by TVE in Primera Fila, and in 1969 in Estudio 1.
