Bad Times (Mal de época)

An act of justice or of violence?

FG is a young man who arrives to Buenos Aires like a man to planet Mars. His last destination was the war in Syria, the land from where his parents emigrated. Now he is back in South America with a mission, awaiting military instructions that may or may not arrive – and if they don’t, he will have to make them up. FG shows more and more signs of Dromomania, also known as Traveling Fugue, precisely what Albert Dadas was suffering from in the 19th century. Both Albert and FG are captive fugitives. As the narrator, also a captive fugitive, tells us the story of FG, we get to know her own story: she is immersed in an investigation about Albert Dadas. She tells us about her own trip to Bordeaux following the footsteps of Dadas, his doctor and other writers that were in the city before her. Meanwhile, in his desperate search for a mission, will FG committ an act of violence or an act of justice.
