In the final phase of life, friendship is a palliative care.

Rodri and Guzmán have been friends forever. Even now, approaching forty and living monotonous, quiet lives in Madrid, they support each other to make the day-to-day more bearable. Everything changes when Guzmán reveals to Rodri that he has been diagnosed with an incurable disease. With no hope of survival but determined to live intensely the little time he has left, he asks Rodri to leave everything to travel with him for a year. Rodri immediately agrees, and together they embark on the last and most important journey of their lives. They will travel the world and go through all stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and the most painful of all, acceptance.
