The cave

A young man from a bourgeois family accepts joining a revolutionary group attempting to rid Spain from the absolute power of Ferdinand VII. He is part of an armed group aiming to be the trigger of popular revolution backed by the army. His enterprise fails, all his comrades die and as the lone survivor, he flees from the enemy. 1825. The young man is secluded in a cave under the care of a smuggler who is supposed to provide him with a boat in order to flee from the realists. This reclusion allows him to think about turning his life around as well as his ideals.
