The Delegation (La delegación) – Original Project for TV Series

The #Eurodrama made into a series.

After years of constant dramas at the ever so popular competition show Eurovision, Lourdes García is elected as the new head of the Spanish delegation… basically because she was the only candidate running. The young woman arrives full of energy, hope and new ideas.

The road to Eurovision is not easy, it is full of obstacles and unforeseen events that the members of the Spanish delegation, in charge of restoring the coveted crystal microphone, have to face every day. Lourdes lands in the offices of public television after the resignation of his predecessor in office for consistently poor results. The aim of the documentary is to accompany this team throughout the process until they reach the stage of the grand finale.

This journey becomes Lourdes’ worst nightmare, surrounded by a disastrous team composed of Alfonso, a clumsy and loudmouthed press chief; Michael, an artistic director with a tendency to drink heavily; Delfina, a tyrannical and violent choreographer; Sergio, a submissive production assistant; and, most importantly, Anabel Lozano, the singer who has fallen very quickly from fame since her rise in the nineties and who, after being chosen against all odds by the TikTok trolls, seeks to return to the limelight in any way she can.
