Twenty (Veinte)

What if the fate of humanity were in the hands of a group of teenagers?

A plague has ravaged the world’s population, wiping out almost all of humanity.  200 years later, the few survivors live in this new world where civilization has regressed to times similar to the Middle Ages. This society, divided into a series of villages, is made up of descendants of those who did not die and struggle every day to survive, in the hope of one day being able to move forward and return to being the civilization they once were.

Everything changes again when their greatest fear and worst nightmare comes true: the plague is back.

Andrea, who was very young when the first plague happened, lives in the village of La Lanza. She created the vaccine that helped her and the others survive. However, that vaccine not only helped them to survive, it also had a side effect that became the reason why they are still alive after 200 years. The vaccine prevented them from aging.

Andrea, along with the few remaining witnesses to what humanity once was, risk their lives and race against time in search of answers to save humanity a second time.

“It was great, a fast-paced read, entertaining to the max and well written. It has moral dilemmas and action and is read in a heartbeat.” Goodreads

Twenty (Veinte) speaks of people who fight for others and people who are moved by their most personal desires, people who try to survive and others who cause the collective to survive. The best and the worst of the human being, it could not be done otherwise.” Mamásfulltime
