Betting on love?
Seventeen-year-old Heidi lives with her parents in the mountains. She has leadership stamina, a great sense of humor, and is a wonderful snowboarder. Spring break is approaching, and she knows she will once again spend all her free time working at the family guesthouse.
But her dull life takes a turn when she meets Patrik, a cool snowboarder who’s staying at the guesthouse with his board friends to participate in the same snowboarding contest Heidi is on. From the group, Heidi befriends Seb and meets the beautiful and sexy Rebeca, who seems to have something with Patrik…
That evening, Heidi meets Patrik and his group at the local discotheque. After a wild night, Patrik walks her drunk-self back home to find her not-at-all-happy parents at the entrance.
Patrik supports her in the competition, advising her on the course. She arrives second and makes it to the final.
Things go south when Rebeca overdoses at the party at the Vampire Hut. She nearly dies. The competition is no longer a priority, and Heidi skips the final.
After the holidays, Heidi is accused at school of leaking the party’s attendance list to the police, making her life at school quite complicated. That, along with disappointment in love, will be quite a lot for the girl…
When she is not snowboarding, Heidi trains with her dance group. She finds out they will be performing at Patrik’s prom. After the performance, Patrik asks her to dance. Patrik’s mother is there and adamantly disproving of Heidi and, to make it even harder, Rebecca is dead set on dancing with Patrik. When things can’t seem to get any worst, the parents reveal the major secret that feeds these families hatred.
