Benito Olmo

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co-agency of Storytel.

Benito Olmo is a Spanish author and screenwriter. He has a degree in Audiovisual and Entertainment Production from the University Francisco de Vitoria and has studied Geography and History at the National Distance Education University.

He is mostly known for his novels within the detective and crime genre and is increasingly consolidated as a renowned author of crime novels in Spain.

He collaborates in several literary magazines and websites, as well as working as a proofreader, editor, and ghostwriter.

 

RELEVANT INFORMATION

Throughout his literary career, his works -which boast excellent reviews and great public acceptance- have been finalists for the Santa Cruz Award for Best Crime Novel, the Negra y Mortal Award, the Cartagena Negra Award, the 1st La Trama / Aragón Negro Novel Award and the Tormo Negro-Masfarné Award.

One of his novels is currently being adapted to the big screen.
