Ignacio Ferrando

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co-agency of Vega and Sevilla Literary Agency.

Ignacio Ferrando is a Spanish writer. He licensed in Engineering and worked for seven years as associate professor at the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Madrid. He let his position to focus totally on his literary career.

He has given conferences about critical writing and reading at the University of Turin, but also at the Spanish National Research Council and the Orivesi College of Arts in Finland, at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, and at the Italian Lyceum of Madrid.

He currently is the head of studies of the Masters Degree of Narrative at the School of Writers in Madrid, where he also teaches workshops on novel, short essays and critical reading.

 

RELEVANT INFORMATION

Ignacio Ferrando has published over a dozen texts, four novels included. All throughout his career, Ferrando has been awarded several times.

Among the most significant honors he has received, there is the Premio Ojo Crítico RNE, the Premio Ciudad de San Sebastián, the Premio Ciudad de Irún, the Juan Rulfo Award, the Tiflos Award and the Narrative Prize of the UNED, among others.
