Marcos Chicot (Madrid, 1971) is a best-selling author graduated in Clinical and Labor Psychology, and in Economics.

His literary career started at the end of the 1990s, having written books awarded with the Francisco Umbral Novel Award or the Rotary Club Literary Award. 

Chicot is member of the Mensa International and gives the 10% of the benefits obtained with his books to organizations helping people with special needs.

The author is the runner-up of the prestigious Planeta Awards and Max Aub Award thanks to his bestsellers La hermandad and El asesinato de Sócrates.
