Pablo Herrán de Viu

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co agency of Altamarea Ediciones.

Pablo Herrán de Viu was born in Palma de Mallorca, but he moved to Barcelona to study Audiovisual Communication at the University Ramón Llul. Subsequently, he moved to New York, where he studied Filmmaking at NYFA.

During his stay in the United States, he worked as a screenwriter, director, and editor. He founded the Screen Loud Film Festival, focused on the topic of immigration.

The author’s stories have been published in many national and international media platforms, and currently he collaborates in publications such as Vice or Shangay. In addition to his work as a creator, Herrán has worked as a literary translator.

 

RELEVANT INFORMATION 
Pablo Herrán de Viu was the winner of the poetry contest Els Jocs Florals three years in a row, which granted him the title of Mestre en Gai Saber.

A year after publishing his literary debut, the author was selected by the AECID for his project 10 of 30, which gathers the most representative writers of new Spanish literature.
