Santiago Gamboa

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co-agency of Schavelzon-Graham Literary Agency.

Santiago Gamboa is one of the most internationally renowed Colombian writers. He graduated in Literature in the Universidad Javierana of Bogotá. He lived in Madrid and in Paris, where he worked as a journalist in charge of literary and cultural shows, and also as correspondent of El Tiempo, the most important Colombian newspaper.

He was a columnist of the Colombian magazines Cromos and Cambio. He has collaborated in other magazines as Gatopardo, Planeta Humano, GQ, Perfiles, SOHO, Internazionale and publications of the group Repubblica.

He has been on diplomatic mission with the Colombian Delegation for the UNESCO and in the embassy in India.

He has published novels, stories, essay and travel books, counting in total over fifteen works published. His work has been adapted to cinema, with great international success.

His work has been translated into fifteen languages. He has been a finalist for Rómulo Gallegos Award, finalist for Medicis Award, finalist for Casino de Póvoa Award, and has received La Otra Orilla Award, the Literaturas del Caribe Award and the Coup de Coeur Award.
