Clara Sánchez

Scenic Rights is the audiovisual co-agency of Antonia Kerrigan Literary Agency.

Clara Sánchez is a Spanish writer, linguist and film specialist. She holds a degree in Hispanic Philology from the Complutense University of Madrid. She taught literature at the National Distance Education University in Madrid and at a high school in Madrid, until she decided to dedicate herself fully to the writing profession.

RELEVANT INFORMATION

Clara Sánchez has received the main Spanish-language narrative awards, such as the Planeta Award, the Alfaguara Award and the Nadal Novel Award. In addition to these, she has been awarded the Young Readers’ Mandarache Award, the Rome Award, the Italian National Vincenzo Padula Award, the Literary Institute and Hispanic Culture Award (for her literary career), and the Bilbao Booksellers’ Award, among many others.

Her works have been translated into some twenty countries and he has sold more than two million books.

Clara Sánchez is also a specialist in cinema, and in this field, she participated for five years in the Spanish public television (TVE) program ¡Qué grande es el cine!
